California & Nevada & Arizona

We traveled through the states of California, Nevada and Arizona, which gave us the opportunity to visit some highlights. We started our trip in San Francisco and drove along the famous Highway 1, passing cities like San José, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego. The drive along the coast offered breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and allowed us to explore some of California's most beautiful beaches.

We continued our journey towards Las Vegas, but not without exploring some natural wonders along the way. We drove through Joshua Tree National Park, a surreal desert landscape with unique Joshua trees. We were struck by the park's rugged beauty and diverse wildlife. Crossing the Mojave Desert, we witnessed its vastness and simple beauty, with its iconic Joshua trees and sunlit dunes.

On our way to the small town of Page, Arizona, we made two important stops. First, we visited Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, known for its bright red rock formations and ancient petroglyphs. The unique geological formations and rich history made this place a must-see. 

Once in Page, we explored two famous sights: Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Antelope Canyon, with its stunning sandstone formations and celestial play of light, offered a surreal and fascinating journey through narrow slot canyons. Horseshoe Bend offered a breathtaking view of the Colorado River winding through the canyon in the shape of a horseshoe. The sheer size and beauty of these natural wonders left us speechless.

On the way back to San Diego, we took another breathtaking side trip - to the Grand Canyon, one of the most magnificent natural wonders on earth. It was an unforgettable experience to stand on the rim of the canyon and admire its colossal dimensions and vibrant colors.

As we traveled through California, Nevada and Arizona, we experienced a mix of vibrant cities, breathtaking coastlines, surreal deserts and awe-inspiring natural wonders. It was a trip filled with unforgettable experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
