Vancouver - a city that immediately captivated me. From the first sight, I felt I had arrived, as if I had known this place all my life. With my beloved partner by my side, this trip became very special.

Jet lag stubbornly entered our lives and made sure we woke up in the wee hours of the morning. But sometimes it is these unexpected moments that give you the most beautiful experiences. With the streets still empty and the alleys quiet, we were able to discover Vancouver all to ourselves. No traffic noise, no crowds - just us and this fascinating city.

And what can I say? Vancouver enchanted me. The breathtaking Stanley Park, which opens up like a green oasis in the middle of the city, warmed my heart. We walked hand-in-hand along the boardwalk, enjoying the gentle breeze caressing our skin. The picturesque downtown exuded a charm all its own. Small cafes, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the air, invited us to linger. It felt as if we were becoming part of a large family and being welcomed into this warm-hearted community.

But the adventurous spirit in us also wanted to be satisfied. Therefore, we ventured up Grouse Mountain, which towered majestically above the city. The dizzying height of the Capilano Suspension Bridge made my heart beat faster as we walked hand in hand over the precipice. These moments were not only pure adrenaline, but also an opportunity to trust each other even more and feel that we could overcome any obstacle together.

Not stopping there, we made our way to the enchanting Vancouver Island and whale watching was also high on our to-do list and we were not disappointed. With our mouths hanging open, we watched as majestic orcas made their tracks and captivated us with their pure beauty and grace. These unforgettable moments made us marvel at the wonders of nature and realize how small we are in this vast universe.

Yes, Vancouver, you captivated us. Your beauty, your warm people and the riches of nature you have to offer have touched us deeply. We may be leaving you for a while, but I can already feel myself being drawn back. There is still so much out there to discover, but I know you will always be in our memories and hearts. Vancouver, we will be back, I promise!
